MISSION - Casa De Las Comunidades, a Catholic Worker Community, exists to promote and maintain the development of environmental factors to provide relief, education, and assistance to families and individuals who are oppressed, marginalized, and alienated by a competitive and individualistic society. We embrace and accept all with the recognition that differences of race, culture, or religion are a wealth of humanity that is to be shared. We are especially called to be of assistance to immigrant families, women, and youth who have been physically and/or emotionally abused.
VISION - Casa De Las Comunidades will strive to conduct such educational activities as needed to foster human dignity, the awareness of individual human rights, promote higher development of family values, and higher standards of living in a safe, healthy environment of the community in Albuquerque. This includes advocacy for the dignity and rights of persons who are immigrants from their country and culture.
Trinity House is a House of Hospitality based in the tradition of the Catholic Worker Movement. We seek to imitate Jesus Christ by living a particular lifestyle with three priorities: First, to co-create with God a community that is built on faith, love, hope, prayer, compassion, gratitude, joy peace and justice; Second, to express the Love of God by helping to alleviate the pains of those in need, primarily those of the Poor and Homeless in New Mexico; Third, to peacefully challenge and change those social structures which create division, alienation, isolation, dominance, exploitation, and involuntary poverty.
